Purpose

At Your Urban Farm our mission is to cultivate a thriving, sustainable community by growing fresh, healthy food while fostering education, environmental stewardship, and social connection. We are located in Houston’s Third Ward neighborhood providing a welcoming space where neighbors can come together to learn about urban agriculture, support local food systems, and build a greener, more resilient city.

Education

Through hands-on gardening, workshops, and community partnership, we are committed to empowering individuals, reducing food insecurity, and creating a more sustainable future for all. According to the United States Department of Agriculture food deserts are urban or rural towns without ready access to fresh, health, and affordable food. 

Inspiration

Our programs include sending out ambassadors to raise social consciousness about the cause, and to hold fundraising events in order to provide immediate relief and assistance to the community.
